She remains optimistic even when things are at their worst. It is true strength. It would be so easy for her to become bitter and angry at the world like everyone else on this show who got a really raw deal. She doesn’t at all. Instead she clings even harder to her belief in fighting for goodness, fighting to help others. She defies the notion that having a messed up life means you yourself have to become messed up.
